cp command

Description:

• Copy files and directories
• Copy SOURCE to DEST, or multiple SOURCE(s) to DIRECTORY.
• Mandatory arguments to long options are mandatory for short options too.
• While the file itself may not move from its location on the hard drive, pointers to the file will be updated with a new location.

Synopis:

• cp [OPTION]... [-T] SOURCE DEST
• cp [OPTION]... SOURCE... DIRECTORY
• cp [OPTION]... -t DIRECTORY SOURCE...
